Hi bukabook1. The first line in your Nero log beginning with 1A20 is your Nero serial number. It would be a good idea to remove it. Newer firmware is available for your burner. You can get it at the link below. http://plextor.com/english/support/downloads/firm_740.htm Your burner does not like your media. Updating your firmware will possibly resolve this. DVD43 (DVD For Free) is not updated often. In fact, the last time DVD43 was updated was approximately one month prior to Flightplans release. You may want to try AnyDVD which is updated more frequently. AnyDVD has a 21 day free trial.
Thank you for the Info., i had just updated my Plextor, now im going to work on geting Any DVD. should i delete my dvd for free or leave that as running?? i am assuming that Any Dvd does the same thing as my dvd43 just updated more often and also does that have auto update. thank you so much for your help, hopefully this works
If you want to use AnyDvd, you HAVE to uninstall Dvd43. Also if you say you want to burn on DL Disc, I found out that people have better experience using DVD Decrypter to burn DL instead of Nero. if you decide to keep AnyDvd, fine and dandy, as it can decrypt virtually "any" Dvd, but there are also many free programs that can do the job. Dvd43 is not one that I would recommend. Instead, you can download DvdFab Decrypter and DVD Shrink, VobBlanker. here is more info for you: http://www.k-probe.com/backup-newly-release-DVD-DVDFAB-Decrypter-VobBLanker-Nero-Recode-2.php Also, Memorex is not the media I would recommend. The only DL I would use is Verbatim.
