Usually errors that shut the computer down involve hardware issues. Have you installed anything new lately? If you have try removing it and see if the problem goes away, or reinstall/update it's drivers/firmware. It you haven't, and you get long enough to virus scan, try doing that.

I'm assuming this is what you see when you turn the pc back on, not during the error. Please say if otherwise.

When you're back in windows, if you've got long enough, try going to the event manager -

"right click on My Computer > Manage > a console should appear, expand Event Viewer, and you can highlight "Application" and "System" logs shoukld open in the right pane. If you track down the bugger in there, double click on it and it may give you a further avenue of diagnosis :)" - posted by Ken the gardener on ABC Online Forum.

Of course this doesn't rule out faulty hardware. If you're confident with hardware you could try substituting GPU/RAM to correct it, or if not you could always get a professional diagnosis.
