I NEED HELP CONNECTING MY XBOX TO MY COMPUTER

    Can somebody PLEASE help me connect my xbox 2 my computer I have a Linksys 8-port Workgroup switch I attached a pic of it I also have a Motorola SURFboard Cable Modem model no:SBV5120 that Optimum Online Installed I have a Modded xbox with EvolutionX and I want to hook it up to the Workgroup Switch and connect it to my Computer so I can use FlashFXP to copy the files to my Computer from the xbox so I can make copies of games I am not sure if I have everythiong I need can somebody please help me <a href="http://photobucket.com" target="_blank"><img src="http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d193/LilJohnny9243/Workgroupswitch.jpg" border="0" alt="Image hosting by Photobucket"></a>

    Just plug in your xbox to your switch with a standard ethernet cable.

    I think what im gonna do is hook my xbox directly to my PC using a Crossover cable everyone says that will work can u tell me what to do

    Buy a crossover cable plug it into your computer and xbox, then go to network connections and highlight your internet connection and connection to xbox. Then right click them and select bridge connections and thats it.

    Where does your xobox connection appear because in my network connection it only shows one and it says I need two in order to brideg them

    Your xbox should be plugged into your computer via crossover cable, and your computer should be plugged into a router or something similar. Then you should have two connections.

    I only have one plug on my pc for ethernet & hooking up the modem through the usb didn't work. would I need another card for the modem since the other one is occupied by the crossover cable to the xbox.
