    A few days ago me and my friends were playing halo2 and the xbox picture started to fuzz as if the video in cable was unplugged or lose. However, the cable was not lose and eventually we turned it off after it got so bad we couldn’t see where we were going. The next day we tried to turn it on and it wouldn’t even start up. The power button was completely unresponsive and it did not power up.

    We tried many different Xbox power cords to see if it was that by some crazy chance, but it was not. We called up Microsoft and they put us through to some Indian woman who kept us busy for an hour checking to see if the power cord was plugged in. .... Anyway we got a free power cord out of the phone call and when it arrived we decided to give it a shot just in case. It worked!

    That night we played for a few hours with no problems. Though today when we tried it the bloody thing would not turn on at all, so we kept trying - naturally - and eventually it powered on and flashed red/green with no video. Actually, i believe it rebooted once or twice and then began flashing red/green. Anyone out there know what the hell is wrong with it?

    Clearly nobody here can take the time out of their busy lives to tell me what is wrong with the xbox, or perhaps nobody has the knowledge to do so.

    Well, the only thing I can tell you that your xbox is dying. The power supply or motherboard has problems. I think you know this too. And I dont think anyone here are able to fix your xbox. Only MS will do.

    MS = microsoft

    It may not be the a/v cord it-self, it may be what it connects to inside the xbox. if so that sucks.

    Break out the soddering iron! lol
