I've researched all the threads about this but have no definitive answer.I have a new Asus DRW-1608P2S burner that replaced a Plextor PX-712A.I've updated the firmware,and enabled DMA.I am using a Dell computer with 1 gig of memory and a 3.0 P4 processor.No matter what I do it will not burn a DVD of an img file faster than 1.3X.I was using DVD Decrypter so deceided to try Roxio.Got the same results.I was going to try Nero but can't figure out how to burn this type of file.Does anybody have the answer to this problem?This must have happened to somebody before that figured it out.I would love to hear from you.Thanks
You mentioned that you tried Roxio, I would suggest you do NOT have BOTH Roxio and Nero installed as they conflict and have 'Issues" with each other.
