Need an update of firmware to solve burning problems

Does anyone know where i can find an update of fireware for my burner? Its - Recorder: <_NEC DVD_RW ND-2510A> Version: 2.54

I've already tried ND-2510A FW 2.18 via http://support.necsam.com/optical/downloads/flashfirmware/
as suggested by another member but didn't have any luck.

I've tried the K251GN81.exe download and that was unsuccessful. Any others from this page you can suggest?

 

your indicate you have version 2.54, your burner is a NEC, my source says latest is 2.18 so I dont know where you got 2.54

 

Can you have a look at my latest failed burnlog to see if it is in fact version 2.54 i have? I have also tried changing the speed setting in Nero to 4x but the log shows 8x? I've tried several things as advised by members but i can't seem to produce a successful burn since i updated my nero?

I think i see your major problem:

512mb is considered the minimum needed for DVD ripping. You have less than 200 and only have 7MB available. Thats not enough. You will probably need another memory stick to get you up to the minimum at least. That one we usually suggest closing down all programs not needed for burning, but that wont help enough in your case i think.
Thats the main thing i see from a quick glance at your log. I have to run, so someone else can check your firmware, but that memory problem will need to be fixed.

You are always going to have problems burning, you need at least 512meg RAM to burn successfully, I would suggest you add an additional 256meg, in the meantime dont multitask
