Ok so Ive read a zillion articles all saying dvd-r and dvd+r are nearly the same. Well I burned some files onto my dvd+r discs that I know my dvd player is capable of reading, but just spits the disc back out. The disc is also unreadable by my computer. So 10 coasters later, Ive discovered that my buddies dvd-r disc with the same files burnt to it can be read by my player AND by my computer. Now I've managed to stick mp3's on my +r discs have them be usable, but what gives with other types of files????????
