    Sup Guys,

I kinda have the same problem. I got the problem after I put in my new HDD. It came with all of the files for the xboxdash preloaded on it. I pluged it in and everything was fine, but when I went to play live I got the Xbox Live Not Found, Check your mtu size of your router.... error. So I figured i would take the files off of my stock hd. This is were I fucked up, I was trying to format the new hd but I really didn't know what I was doing. I went to format new drive in X3CL, clicked format....When it says formatting sucessful I thought I was done. So I Turn It off and swithed HDs( back to the old one) to get the files. When I turned it on guess what happened, It formatted my old drive. So Now I have a stock drive with no files and a 200GB drive with fucked up files. I backed up the fucked up files on my new HD and FTPed them to my old HD and of course they don't work. So I had another bright idea, I bought a brand new Xbox, Thinking i would kill 2 birds with 1 stone, fixing live and I would have a new DVD drive. Well, When I put the HD from the new Un-Modded Box into my old Modded Box, I get an error 6. So now I have 2 Xboxs which is pretty cool for system link but that gets old, So If anyone has a cule, Thanks in advance

ok with that new hd this is what you need to do......put it in the xbox with the xecuter 3 on it.....go download auto installer 3 if u dont have it already and burn it on a dvd. put that in the xbox it should load becuz u have a modchip..when the discloads scroll down to
    Tools-
    then click config magic-
in congif magic unlock hdd and then lock it now with the modchip off u will have an original dash to play on live....

Ok, well i dindn't know which hd you ment by the "new one", so i tried it on both, the 200gb segate and the stock drive from my new xbox. When I did it with the 200gb I tried to connect to live with the chip off (of course) and it still says xbox live not found. It says something about checking the mtu size of my router, but i tried that and i unhooked my router and wired my xbox straight to my modem. With the new Stock hd it still says error 6, i tried it without a cd and with aid 3.0 in the xbox, it does the same either way. I think it might have something to do with my new xbox being a 1.6 and my modded xbox being 1.4, but i dont know. I dont care if the stock hd never works in my modded xbox, just as long as I get live working on it again. I've tried installing the ms dash with aid 2.11, aid 3.0, and slayers. I have even broke the isos apart, took out the ms dash files, and ftped to my xbox with flashfxp, with all three installers. I guess i'm gonna get another X3 and attempt to put it in my v1.6. Then since it will be modded I cant just backup the files on my pc and then ftp them to my old xbox......Hopefully.

ok well i saw two choices that seemed close to what i mite want they are...

    1. set up a home or small office network
(Connect to an existing home or small office network or set up a new one)

    2. Set up an advanced connection
(Connect Directly to another computer using your serial, parrallel, or set up this computer so other computers can connect to it.)

    which one shall i choose?
    Thanks,
    ~Serpy~
