please disregard both previous posts, thanks. I do have one more question I NEED HELP with. the dvdx2 utility which allows you to play dvds without the dvd kit. i download it and it is an image, not a file that would allow you to transfer over onto the xbox. can anyone tell me how to get the application on the xbox harddrive to launch without a disc, or perhaps direct me to some tutorials? i appreciate it.

get a utility that will allow you to extract images (ex. xiso) and extract the contents of the image to a directory and then transfer it over to the xbox or burn the image, insert into xbox drive and extract from there.

great, i have already extracted the contents to a directory now just waiting to transfer it over. have you used dvdx2? i booted dvdx2 from cdrw and place a dvdr the first time and played it. the second time i tried a different dvdr and it did not play. so i tried a third dvd which was an original lilo and stitch but it also did not play. any suggestions?
