ok i know how to do this i usually use TMPEGEnc and usually i can do it cause i have before i've sucessfully converted an AVI to dvd well now im having trouble with an AVI i downloaded that is 791 MB its a good quality rip i got off bit torrent and i cannot encode it because the space it says its gonna take up well exceeds the 4.8 gigs for a dvd i tried to turn it down but it only goes so far and not far enough to be able to do it so what can i do? is there a way i can size it down or something i mean im puzzled here and i have a bunch of movies like that good ones too that i need encoded so if someone could please help me out thatd be great. i have used the guide on here thats how i learned how to convert avi to dvd but like i said when i run some movies over 700 MB in TMpegEnc it wont let me do it cause they are like 5 gigs in dvd format which it shows me on there so im not sure what to do about it
