All seems to be in order to me,I would spend the extra $15.00 and get a dvd burner instead of just one for cd's,you can still burn cd's on a dvd burner and you will have it just incase. Don't forget the cables! Good luck in your build.
For an extra 35 bucks your friend should go with a P4. This was the cheapest one i could find for your socket. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16819116178 You should definantly get the P4 becuase i have a Celeron D 2.5 GHZ and it can get pretty slow when you have Internet explorer, AIM, Winamp, and Word open at once.
yes it will work but i would go for a 6200 graphiocs card here http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814121542 $19, as this will be much better as the core and memory clock is higher, so will be albe to play low end games better.
