i bought one of these from ebay last week: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/XBOX-360-Adva...63433327QQcategoryZ112846QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

I get a much sharper picture through this cable which eases the pain of not having a HDTV. The problem is that the colour red is funny looking. For example if a blue car drives past in a game it will look nice and sharp, but if a red car drives past, it looks fuzzy as if it was an aerial signa. Its hard to explain but hopefully you guys can help. Is this a fault in the cable or is it just because a bought a thrid party cable?

I know exactly what you mean. I've been having the same problem with everything that is connected to my tv with scart, s-video or composite cable. I think that it's not possible to get rid of it with these cables. I have a component cable on my 360, so the problem doesn't exist in games anymore, but I still get it with digital receiver.

I dont think its my TV though, my original xbox works fine on RGB. I can live with the fuzzy red, its not a bad trade-off for the sharpness, but it annoys me a lot.
