I have a gateway solo 2500 that's older than dirt that i wish to take the screen and turn into the home pc screen. I have some know how of pc building and so forth but ld im alittle lost, I would really like help is know how to do this i have look into it some, but i could use so help about how to get the wires right and if i need and power for it write back im new so i might get lost some on getting the write if there is any. I wrote to the web site asking how i post threads but i found it took some time but i hope this is the right place any help would be really kewl thanks. Matt
Hi Reddevil! Welcome to aD. I'm afraid I can't help you with your problem but I'm wondering if maybe you've placed your question in the wrong forum...you might be better off placing your post further down in the hardware section. Perhaps if a moderator sees this he can move it or you can repost in that forum and ask the mod to delete the one in the displays forum. I just suspect you'll have a hard time getting an answer to your question here. I've sent a message to the moderator asking if he might move this to a forum where you're more likely to get an answer. This is to ddp im not sure what u mean. Are u asking the system specs especially videocard & ram for the labtop, or my home pc that i want the screen to be used on? If u wanted my home pc i can give that too u i have a sony Viao amd athlon xp 2400+ 640 mb ram and a radeon 9800SE edtion card. If u ment the labtop im not all that sure i would have to find a way to find out labtop is working, powers up and all that but no hard drive. Thanks Matt
