Try another brand of blanks...Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden, Sony, Fuji, Maxell (made in Japan). Stay away from Memorex and Imation. Turn off high compatability mode when using DVD-R's, not sure you really need it for a game anyway. Your media should be kicking out this error, again, try differenct blanks.

Come up a little on your burn speed, try 4X. Those Sony's are made in Taiwan right? I suggested the Japanese ones, anything made in Taiwan is questionable with the exception of Verbatim. Do you get an error with everything you are trying to burn or just this one file, I noticed you changed the file name in the second log...seems that Nero is having a problem with the files.

Try uninstalling your version of Nero, run this Nero clean tool to compleyely remove it http://ww2.nero.com/nero7/enu/Nero7_CleanTool.html and then install this version and see if it solves the problem http://httpdl6.us.nero.com/software/nero7/Nero-7.0.1.4b_eng_no_yt.exe This error normally means a dirty or scratched disc.
^ That diddnt solve the problem either. I'm relly thinking it might be something wrong with the burner (it dosnt burn anything now). The disks I'm using are brand new sealed sonys, they cant be dirty. I tried with maxell and fuji dvd-r as well, no sucess. is there anyway I could diagnose my drive? last case scenerio is I take it in, but I'd rather avoid that. thanks alot for the help guys
