Nero program or hardware Problem?

    So I just loaded my new NERO 7 Ultra program and wanted to burn a copy of a dvd. Only when it get's to writing the program throws up an error writing file message which leaves my unsatisfied to say the least. I have a new laptop and a relatively new sony external dual layer burner. Anyone experience this? Very depressing when a new program doesn't function right...Thanks for any help possible.

    You should post a Nero error log, in order for someone to look at and see why you might be getting that error.

    You can find your Nero log here
    Nero 7 history log location: Program Files>Nero>Nero 7>Core>NeroHistory.txt

    Also some versions of Nero7 are causing problems, which version of 7 are you using?
