Hello, when I run nero 7 it slows my computer down so much that even after the burn is over it will not run at normal speed for like 15 minutes. Whwn I use alcohol it lets me multi task and every thing is fine. Also this happens while burning a cd or dvd. Mt computer specs are p 4 3 ghz ht technology emt64 512 mb ram ddr 2 windows xp pro x 64 edition lite on dvd dual layer burner
@tommyl Can you post your Nero 7 log by chance? There could be a few others things like DMA issues, low/running out of memory ram, Roxio & InCD conflicting with Nero, Spywares/trojans/virus, etc. Just incase you want to troubleshoot your DMA (or "uninstall" its drivers") and or check it out your DMA.
