I just started and have burned 4 so far. I ran all 4 in Nero CD DVD Speed and all 4 are fine (all green boxes) for 99.8% of the way through the DVD, but the last 0.2% of each is bad (red), not even damaged (yellow). Any idea what I can do to fix this and whether it's a big deal or not. I'm trying to remove all extras so it may be the end of the movies that are affected.

Could it be the DVD Burner itself, the burning program, the media? I'm using DVD Shrink latest version so I doubt it's that. The burner is brand new, the media is Verbatim 16x that are rated pretty well.

    Thanks for your help.

What speed are you burning at? Also, in DVD Shrink under preferences, set the target size as "Custom" and choose 4300 or 4330 for high quality disks--this keeps the disk from burning all the way to the edge which is where your problem seems to be--I think that will work--good luck--

I believe it said 2x but I could be wrong. It's taking about 30 minutes to burn a single-layer so maybe you can tell me if that makes sense that it's 2x. I agree limiting the size so it doesn't burn the edge seems like the easiest solution.

Yeah, that sounds about right--I burn at 4x and it is about 20 minutes--setting the Target size in Shrink will fix your problem--Just go to "Edit" and in the dropdown last one is "Preferences" at set Target size to 4300--should fix your problem--Have fun
