TMPGEnc blank after one hour

    Trying to convert an DivX to mpeg for VCD creation. After about an hour in using TMPGEnc it just records blank. I have used TMPGEnc successfully on other occasions so it must be something to do with the format. The extension is .XviD.KSi-greekxvid-ksi
    I've tried converting in two halves but the second half gives a blank at the same place.
    I'm baffled

    ah yes, before you ask..the DivX is perfect all the way through.

    backup the avi file, and run it through avifixed and divfix and see if it comes up with any errors in the streams!!
