I have some movies on my computer and I want to burn them onto DVD's so I can play them on a conventional DVD player in my house. I already made one dvd DL a coaster by trying to use mac disc utility to make an image. I have used DVD Imager to make an image and now I have two files, one is the name of the movie.img and the other is just the name of the movie (the icon looks like an HD). Which file should I burn onto the DVD? If I go to disk utility to burn the movie onto a DVD, I think I can choose either the file ending in .img or its subfile (the one with the HD as the image). I would like to avoid making another dvd a coaster and I would love it if I can make DVD's that I can play on a household DVD player. Thanks for your help. Best, Aaron
Hi Aaron, depends which format the movies are in, theres an excellent guide in my sig by alkohol that could be worth checking out.
Nero does not really work for me because I have a Mac. The files were in video_ts, but i have made an image of them so I have a .img file, and a file that I can extract from that .img file. The logo on that looks like an HD. I think I need help from a mac expert. Thanks. Aaron
