Alright, this may sound weird, but here we go. I downloaded a virus off of kazaalite the other day and my norton software found it. It quarantined it and i deleted it, though I did not think to write the name down. Stupid me. Around this time I had been inside the computer trying to install some ram, but since I have an emachines I found it takes a funky kind forcing me to continuously rummage around inside. I have also installed a new geforce card as well. Right after that my internet stopped working. Thinking it was some part of the virus still left I tried everything I could think of to get rid of it, eventually having to ghost my computer with the windows reinstallation cd the emachines came with. I found out that I needed to reinstall my ethernet card drivers which I could only get from off the internet (how ironic) and had to borrow a card from a friend to get my drivers and get my old card working again. Right now I'm able to get on the internet obviously, but it will only allow me to stay on for about 20 minutes, then it shuts off. To turn it back on I have to reset the modem and restart the computer.

I know this is long, but I thought the whole story might help. Hopefully someone knows what to do. Thanks.
