Im doing alot of traveling soon and want to get a device that plays both music and video. I've been researching and have been focusng on the cowon a2, ipod video, creative Zen zision, and zision:M, and the archos av500. I could use some help deciding what to get. I don't want somethng that will last a good portion of 14+ hour flights playing music and video, so a replacable battery would be nice. so that leaves the zen vision and vision:m and the av500. I looked at an av500 today and the only thing i didn't like was its a little bulky, but i could live with that. Another important thing is ease of getting movies converted into the required formats. Any advise would be appreciated!

I'm assuming you meant that you "DO" want something that will last that long.

The Vision:M is going to be the cheapest (most for your money) @ $299.

So far putting video on there (for me) has been pretty easy, drag and drop.

As an added bonus, being a member here on afterdawn.com you get great guides on how to convert files to other formats.

Actually Crutchfield.com has a $50 coupon code (PA440), so you can get the ZV:M for $249.99 shipped. I think its on back order though. If you can wait though, it is the cheapest you will find it for anywhere.
