well i dont know if im at the right place but maybe you can help me im getting a processing error using the any dvd and cone dvd it say E:VIDEO_TS/VTS_01_5.VOB: READ ERROR DATA ERROR CYCLIC REDUNDANCY CHECK WHAT IS THIS AND WHAT CAN I DO TO GET GET THINGS GOING AGAIN? THE DVD IS CLEAN AND IT WORKS FINE AND TRIED SEVERAL DVDS AND THEY ALL ARE DOING THE SAME HELP PLEASE
first of all please read the forum rules for NEWBIES... don't use caps please, and this is the DVDRebuilder forum.... you should ask this question in the forum for NEWBIES or Advanced, but since your already asked...... a [bold]cyclic redundancy error[/bold] is not just caused by a dirty disk.... it is a result of your drive not recognizing the disc at all.... meaning that your firmware needs updating to recognize the manufacturers ID of the disk to write on it or read it! Here is the firmware page... just search your drive here and see if it has the newest firmware:http://forum.rpc1.org/dl_search.php if yours is not up to date then download the newest firmware and install!
