Hi I am trying to softmod my xbox but have ran into a problem. I had followed the persons tutorial above and i'm stuck. When I turn my xbox off and turn it back on again it says congradulations. Then it reboots after a few seconds and when it reboots the unleashed dash doesn't show up. The original xbox screen shows up asking me to set the time and once I do that it takes me to the xbox screen, the memory card, music, xbox live, etc. Did I do something wrong. I am still able to play games and use the splinter cell thing. Did I do something wrong?
sounds like clock loop i thought this was gone by now, did you try to softmod it again?? if not try it
Ok I uninstalled the softmod and reinstalled it. I did everything that the tutorial said. When I try to eject the disk the tray opens half way then closes and then reboots and then the congratulation screen shows up. After I push ok it copies something and then the xbox screen says do I want to connect to live or something and then xbox screen shows up telling me to set the time and when I do it takes me to the original xbox screen. Does anyone know whats wrong?
I think you should do this for xbox live: - turn off the xbox - hit the eject button so the tray open and xbox start up - you will see ms dash - check you IP is automatic (DHCP) - insert game and go online. For unleash dash: - turn off the xbox - hit power on button - unleash dash will load up
Can you reinstall softmod again? Follow this toturial. http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/311710 Remember this time install Evox instead of Unleash.
I tried installing evox twice but with the same results. The clock screen keeps showing up. It's really strange that this keeps happening. When I look on the hard drive the evox dash is saved on there. I guess I am one of the unlucky ones that has this problem.
NO. But you can go here and ask Azzidrain http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/311710 I'm sure he knows.
clock loop goes way back if it is clock loop you will need to find a hacked game save that is more up to date if you have a new one already then i doubt its clock loop
