Hi i'm a noobie, i just wanted to know which processor is better? amd or pentium, i mainly use my computer for games and office programs, could somebody help me? i was also wondering if it worth getting a dual core processor like amd x2 or pentium dual core? could anybody give me any recommendations, also would the power supply melt if i get a pentium 4 processor and play high powered games?, would i need a cooler if i buy a pentium 4 or would the amd be a more reliable option?
this is a looooong running question... it all comes down to your own personal preference.... i prefer AMD but some prefer intel. also if you hadnt noticed theres a HUGE thread called "Intel vs AMD"
