I really need some help on burning DVD-R.I tried using DVD-Decrypter and Alcohol 120% to burn some iso but the dvd-writer writes for about 2 minutes and fail the burning process and the error message write- I/O ERROR! Device:[2:0:0]SONY DVDRW DRU-810A 1.0a (F (ATA) SCsistatus: 0x02 Interpretation: Check Condition CDB: 2A 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 20 00 Interpretation: Write (10)- Sector: 0 - 31 Sense Area : 70 00 05 00 00 00 00 12 00 00 00 00 21 02 00 00 00 00 00 Interpretation: Invalid Address For Write. Later i tried using NERO to burn some data files using DVD-ROM ISO that also having the same problems. This is the DVD-Media Info : Disc Book-type : DVD-R Manufacturer Name : Interaxia G Manufacturer I.D : VDSPMSAB 01 Unique Disc I.D : VDSPMSAB 01 This isn't my first time burning dvd but previous i use DVD+R (the same manufacturer but different brand)and burn about 50 pieces didn't have this kind of problems. I like to know is the DVD-R is damage or ???.
the low grade media may be part of you problem ,your burner may not like the media , try Taiyo Yuden or Verbatim in the DVD-R format and you should be fine, try burning at a slower speed also like 4x to see if that helps
