Hello, I was hoping somebody can help me with the following: I have Nero 6.6 and used it before very successfully to back up my DVD's. I used to be able to click on the 'burn entire DVD' icon and then import the files, that gives me a pre-view screen at the end of the copying process the D drive tray pop's open and I get a message saying 'insert blank disk' it then burns everything to the disk. My problem is that I am not able to do that anymore, everything is fine until Nero asks me to choose where I want to safe the files, because there was no alternative (I know of) I chose Desktop, but what I really want is not saving them at all, just burn them. (see above) I have tried everything I can think of to get Nero to work like before, but it wont! HELP please. I have tried Nero Express and Burning rom, but they cannot squeeze the whole DVD onto one empty disk.
you cant have tried everything. After the coding phase you should come to a screen where it says burning. see the pic below: all you then have to do is either choose the burner, image drive or hard disc to burn to.

Basically I dont even get the pic that you posted, its like this: Nero Recode 2 (2.2.6.4) Burn entire DVD My DVD Backup window pops up Import Video TS (until here everything is normal) Burn options Destination drive (either image recorder or hard disc folder) Folder for temp. files (Browse, this is where I chose Desktop) Then there is a pop up window that asks me to SAVE AS Once the burning is done it asks me again to SAVE AS I use a Toshiba Qosmio (Matshita DVD-RAM UJ-83OS (ID:0 HA:1) Do you think the software does not recognize my burner? Sorry, I would have posted some pix to show you better, but I dont know how to (normally I am not so totally useless Thanks Kerstin
Hi. Well that isn't right... Could you post a burn log for us? We would be able to see a lot more with one. Use something like www.imageshack.com to host your pics...
@KerstinJ Did you just upgrade Nero to 6.6.1.4? The NeroRecode 2 that comes with Nero 6.6.0.18 is version 2.2.6.17.I have no problems with it. Just a thought since your Recode version is 2.2.6.4 the newest upgrade for Nero 6.6 is buggy. Just a thought.
