I've been look for days on how to fix this put it seems to be that im the only one with this problem! I have a pioneer 16x burn and im useing xp. My problem is everthing i make will play on but computer but it seems that 1 in 5 disks that i burn will not play in my stand alone player. I use memorex dvd+r disk all the time. But i thought that I'd try dvd-r on the ones that wouldn't play (there still memorex) but thay still wouldn't play. I use divxtodvd to burn them.
Someone please help pulling hair out over why some will play but some won't!!

Get some decent media...Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden, Sony, Fuji, Maxell (made in Japan).

If you notice in the first post, all the media I suggested should be say made in Japan somewhere on the label, usually in the UPC...the only exception would be the Verbatims, if made in Taiwan they are good, otherwise don't buy anything that says made in Taiwan on the label.
