I have a crappy NetVista A21i (2257 72u) and I need to replace the processor... its my secondary computer and I would like to keep it in proper running condition. It shuts down a lot and I've tried looking for the proper processor but I can't find anything compatible for this thing...

Anyone know what type of processor is needed and a site I could possibly get such old computer parts from? I think its a socket 370 processor rated for 950mhz - 1ghz but its intel celeron...

Thanks in advance for any and all info/help.

The only chip i think that is for 370 is intel celeron so i don't think you can upgrade it

That is very old, you might be able to upgrade a little bit but not much.

Yea I got a new AMD coming soon... a custom one. But this one is for my parents and they can hardly check their emails without supervision so I want it to be in decent working order... also if I can get a cheap, possibly used motherboard-memory-cpu to replace this I'd be willing to do that as well.
