my xbox is modded and i only get this error 21 when i go back to the MS dash to manage game saves or screw with the clock. i have alot of game saves that are important to me. can i fix this without a clean install of a new dash? if i cant, is there a way to pull out my game saves somehow before do a clean install?
reinstall ms dash in root of C drive. How? you can ftp. If you have autoinstaller, get ms dash in there.
yeah only way would be to ftp the game save files then reinstall the msdash then copy the game saves back over to the xbox.for a guide on ftp check the software discussion.possibly if you had a memory card you might be able to back them up on that .
do i have to install a new ms dash seperately from reinstalling a dash like evox or whatever, or will the evox etc...fix the normal ms dash too?
you could of avoided this by shutting off your softmod before trying to update your xbox. Also if you used krazyie's ndure installer, you could of restored your msdash by going to the game save exploit menu by booting the exploited game.
