i am burning a vcd with mpeg 1 or mpeg 2 files to play in my stand alone dvd player to record to vhs. I do not know how to burn a dvd with mpeg 1/2 to play in dvd player because it will not read an iso or a dvd video with those type of files?

when i get ready to burn a vcd it says "can not create a temporary file name- what does that mean?

is there an easier way to burn mpeg 1 & 2 files onto a blank dvd instead using 5 files on 1 cd-r?

    email back please cbjargon@yahoo.com

First, remove your e-mail from the post, against the rules(you ca get lots of spam)
You didn't say what software are you trying to use to make the DVD/VSD? If your player supports mpeg 1/2, you could just burn them as data. otherwise, you have to convert to DVD format using Nero Express 3 or Nero Vision 4,for example, or any other software that will allow you to do that:

For your DVD video you will burn a Disc at Once. Track at once is used mostly for data, like if ou want to add files onto the CD/DVD afterwards.
