Ok I just bought a dvd burner (external sony DWQ30A )and I am trying to make a backup of my dvd movies I have. does any one know how to do this ? I just I have been trying for like 5 days now I must have tried every program like nero dvd af ect ect. ..and When I put in a blank cd it just freezes whatever program i use as soon as the blank dvd loads its frozen !I tried two types memorex and some cheap brand and I dont know if its the cd burner the dvd's or what!???(which I doubt because it plays dvds fine) But please help its so anoying!
Memorex is as cheap as you can get quality wise. Get some good media such as ty Yuden or verbatim. Then come back and we'll discuss software. There are many good programs and lots of talented people here to help you get going. See you then.
lets go back a little way, apart from the media what are your issues. Can you provide your pc stats? the versions of the software you have or tried?
@ soberfree: thats a very nice pickup but your not a mod, and i wouldnt want you to get in trouble for trying to be one.All you need to do is use the report an offense button then move on and let the mods worry about it.This site is trying to change its direction in relation to these infractions.They brought this button in for a reason to make it easy for members to help the mods out. did you report it?
