I recently bought Drumline and wanted to make a backup. Now, I'm picky with how i do things so I turned on "Remove Annoying Adverts and Trailers and Jump To Main Title Screen" option on in AnyDVD. The MainTitle had sound but when i went to play the movie, no sound. So i turn this option off and Lo and Behold, the sound came back. Why does this happen? I had the same problem with a Porno so i took the chance of burning it to see if the sound came back and it did. It just didnt play the sound in my PC. can someone tell me why this happened and why with certain movies?

I just backed up A history Of Violence and the same thing happened. I use always AnyDVD with 'Jump Directly To Title Menu" selected. Well I am assuming the same thing happened, I have not re-tried it without that option selected. But on the one I did with that option selected every thing including the menu and the special features have sound but the main movie does not. Why would that take the sound out of the main movie? This is the only movie I have personally come across so far where this happens.

EDIT: I just saw the thread on A History Of Violence and the audio problems people are having. I am assuming then that it has nothing to do with AnyDVD, just that particular movie.
