    You have Roxio installed, that conflicts with nero. I would download Roxio zapper and uninstall it;

    http://www.microadvantage.net/downloads/zapper60.zip

I would get better media(Verbatim, Taiyo Yuden, Sony-Maxell MIJ), Prodisc are not such goodquality, and your burner does not like it:

I would also update the firmware, version 1.22 is available. That might fix some media incompatibilities. Also, slow down the burning speed to X4.

    http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/pio/pe/images/portal/cit_3424/278019998DVR107D_FW122.exe

Set the target size to not more than 4350Mb. 4465Mb is too close to the edge of the disc, you will get burning errors, especially when using poor quality media.

Please remove your serial number from the nero log.It starts with 1A20....On the right side there is a litle pen and paper where you can edit your post and remove it before someone steals it.

mein968, you may want to remove your Nero serial number beginning with 1A20 in your posted log.

Updating the firmware and setting a lower target size might fix some media incompatibility. Also reduce the speed.

Fuji can be good if made in japan - look for that along with the media cyprusrom suggested. Fuji uses different manufacturers and the made in japan ones are usually Taiyo Yuden which is excellent.
I've used Prodisc on a Pioneer drive - hit or miss on the burning - playback on some was another issue.
Funny thing is Pioneer certifies them and was the reason I tried them - ah live and learn!!

Ok, I have tried everything that you guys suggested and they still will not back up. The only thing I had a problem with was the firmware. It said my drive was not the right type and it would not work for me. Otherwise I changed all of the settings and tried to reduce the amount of space on the disk and still nothing. Any more suggestions?

You get power calibration error every time? This could be faulty media, and a firmware upgrade might solve this, but I've used plenty of Fuji without problems. MIJ and stuff made in Taiwan, either TY or Ritek is what I usually ended up with.
It could also be that your burner has given up the ghost and is on it's way out. Happens to the best of them after awhile. If this is a newer drive and it ends up that it's already dying, try to get them to replace it for you.

I think Jigen is right here. This is usually due to one of two reasons:

    1. [bold]Poor quality media[/bold] - Low quality media is inconsistent and will frequently give hit or miss results during the power calibration

    2. [bold]Your burner is dying[/bold]

The only recourse for power calibration errors with low quality media is to update the firmware for your drive and hope it works. If you're using quality media, your firmware is up to date and you're still recieving power calibration errors then your old drive is dying or your new drive is most likely defective.

Well, I fixed the problem. For some reason I got the idea to rip the movie to my hd, shrink and convert it to an .iso and burn at 1x with img burn and everything has worked perfectly. It seems like every 3 or 4 months I have to find a new way to back up my movies. Very strange

I would still up the firmware and get better media( Ty or Verb). You would be surprised how much cat poop some dvd makers will try to feed you.

I would definetly update the firmware and get better media. Burning at x1, that is something I wouldn't settle for. If that is the only way you can get a successful burn, you still a fix of some kind.
