I am using a external sony drx 810 UL drive on my firewire port. what i am looking for is a booktype utility tool. the software i usually use is "ANYDVD" and "CLONEDVD2" and there is no setting in both softwares. I am really new to all this and this place any help would be appreaciated thank you
If that Sony is a lite-on, it can use the lite-on booktype utility. I know someone out there knows if this specific model is a lite-on, but im not sure. You dont need the exact liteon model, just if it is a liteon. So, thats close to an answer, if not exactly one.
I have the 810UL. It is a badged BenQ 1640. Use Nero InfoTool to booktype. Under Extras tab/ bitsetting....
@bilbo65 Thanks for clearing that up. I wasn't sure, and was just guessing about it being a lite-on. You should be set brysonj. Just follow what bilbo65 said, and the thing should booktype +Rs to DVD-ROM.
