I have several region 2 discs that I want to copy and play on my Region 1 Sony dvd player. I use ANYDVD which takes off all the region coding, but the disc will still be in PAL (Europe) format, instead of NTSC (U.S. tv system), does anyone know how to convert a PAL dvd to NTSC?

Depending on your TV, you still may have some kinda issue with the playback. At the very best, the picture will be distorted. For example, if you have a widescreen version of a movie and you convert it to NTSC, the picture may be a tad elongated.
