I have recently copied nanny mcphee, but whenever I play the main movie I get the directors cut sound track playing over the movie. I have reencoded it, but still get the same problem. Has enyone else suffered this before? I have tried copying the movie to my hard drive with decrypter and then encoding it, with the extras and just the movie on its own, but still have the same problem. I have used nero recode, and dvd shrink to no avail. Any ideas whats up?
Did you keep all the audio strems? If you did, you should be able to change the audio form Dir. Cut to normal with your DVD Player's remote. It should be a button that says "Audio: probably. Just push it and get the one that you want. When I reencode, in DVD Shrink or Nero, I only keep the AC 5.1-ch English. Next time when you backup a movie, disable all the other audio streams and subtitles that you do not want.
DC's are always in the 2 channel audio by not selecting it and only keeping the 5.1 channel you will not have the comments running through the film. By default your player will choose 2 channel and that is why the comments play. You will have no problem with choosing the 5.1 channel and playing the movie, your player will just demux it down.
