During boot up my computer display is all garbled (looks like a bad printed page all smeared) and looks this way all the way until it reaches the windows startup screen (which is also garbled) and then either gets a BSD or the moniter will just die and the coputer remains on but frozen. I have figured out that if I let it stay at the black screen long enough and then restart in about 10 minuted it will work fine. I'm wondering if it's my videocard (geforce 6800 ultra 256) or my power supply or my mother board. How can I figure out which one it is? Has anybody else had similar problems? Any help would be appreciated.

if can borrow a videocard & psu than try each seperately to see if problem is still there or not. also try another monitor.
