    hi all,
i am using nero-burning rom ver 5.5.9.2 bundled to burn my cd-r's and the incd that came with it to manage my cd-rw's.
so, what i am doing is formating a couple of cd-rw's and using them as backups. i delete what is on them, copy over fresh data. but, when i take the cd-rw out of the burner and put them in the cdrom i get "windows does not support/recognize the format". i put the disk back in the burner and can access the date fine using windows explorer. i used to use the udf that came on the nero program disk when i was running win98se but the udf does not work winxp pro.
hope what i am saying is not to confusing.
what do i need to do so that info i write to the cd-rw's can be read when the disk is put in the cdrom.
    thanks, Chris

Use ISO966O/Joiliet format instead of UDF for higher compatibility. I odn't use InCD, but if you burn with Nero, you just have to select File--->New---> CD ROM (ISO).

The resulting CD will be read by any OS (from Win95 to XP), DOS included.
