I converted a divx movie to DVD using Avi2DVD the log showed the conversion was successful, and i burnt the DVD content (Audio_TS and Video_TS) files in my DVD RW media but it didn't playback, it showed an error, that DVD is not having the proper structure to be played back insted asked me to browse the media files and play it directly...the video_ts contents played fine... why this is happening....previously i did the same sort of conversion and burnt the DVD folder content which resulted from avi2dvd conversion. and that one played well in my DVD player... that also had the same structure in the media there were 2 folders one is AUDIO_TS and VIDEO_TS....but that one played... What i need to check to make sure...that DVD contents burnt in the media is playable by the DVD players ! Please let me know Thanks in advance Param
Well, ive never heard of burning dvds that way... Has it worked previously? I use Nero... Its easy- Open>Import Video>Design Menu>Burn...
please download avicodec and run your file through it, post the results for one and all to see and we will proceed from there
Also, not all files are compliant just because they were successfully converted to DVD. Sometimes processing files with an app like FixVTS or VobBlanker can make the files compliant.
