Does anyone know if there is a free ripper out there anywhere. My DVd Decrypter stopped working, I evewn unistalled an installed the copy I had on disc. It wont get past ripping the second sector. Also is VSO DivxtoDVD the same, if so is there a user guide

there probably nothing wrong with dvd decrypter at all its either a bad/scrathed dvd or the dvd has a newer protection on it that dvd decrypter cant handle by its self use anydvd with dvd decrypter and i bet it works as long as the dvd isnt scrathed set it upo this way To use DVD Decrypter in conjunction with AnyDVD as stated per Olli ->OF SLYSOFT AND CLONEDVD Proceed to the DVD Decrypter Opening Page - Tools - Settings I/O Tab - Click on "Elby CDIO-Elaborate Bytes" General Tab - un-check "Check For Structure Protection" dvd43 is free but not near as good as anydvd which has a 21 day free trial and updates for life

Yes I haved backed up over 20 movies. Now Decrypter wont even load, I mean when I put the movie in the tray it starts to load but doesn't I get the message; Device Not Ready (Medium Not Present).
