someone tell me what slot is this

    Someone plz tell me what slot is this

    i thought it is a AGP 8X slot but it is not

    someone tell me wht slot is this and tell me whether it will be usefull ,and if it is a graphic card slot tell me which one can i buy

    Looks like an earlier AGP video slot, difficult to be sure from that photo...
    Identify the motherboard by make and model please.
    See what info running CPU-Z will provide,

    i think it is a pci-e slot i dont know whether it is a 8X or a 16 X

    Above all, never use rapidshare, it's absolutely appalling. If it's an image just use imageshack!

    Yeah it's definately PCI Express 16x.

    The dead giveaway is the pci-e 1x right below it that little bitty slot.

    PCI-E 16x is the new video card slot. It's faster than AGP 8x, and alot of the cards are cheaper.
    There are many many many.. (you get the picture) graphics cards you can buy anywhere from $30 to $500USD. Depends on what you're into. If you just need moniter, you don't game, or do very much of anything that needs a GPU, then keep it cheap. But if you game or use any program with alot of graphics interface then, buy what you need.
