Hi to all new to this form and just want to say there is a lot of great information. I am new to burning DVD’s and sort of new to computers. I want to start burning DVD’s but just can’t seem to figure out which is the best way to do this. I have been searching this form for three days now and have gotten a lot of great info but I cant seem to figure out which is the best combination of programs to use for the latest movies coming out. Lots of people use lots of different combinations and now I don’t know which way to turn so any help would be great. I have also found very easy to follow instructions on how to set up various programs which show pictures of the monitor screen throughout the different settings etc. Can anyone help me get started/set up. I have the following burner and a new Dell computer. It has Roxio for the software but I am thinking of getting rid of it and downloading Nero 7.
Dual Drives 16xDVD-ROM Drive +16xDVD+/-RW W/dbl layer write

All the programs mentioned on this site are top notch. You sound like you did your homework, so my suggestion is for you to download all the ones you can, and use 'em all. Then, deduce which is best for you.

I always use Shrink to compress/rip, and decryptor to burn. AnyDVD always running.

Since Shrink is old, if it doesn't handle the newer titles, I'll then try VOBB, DVDFab, or whatever to get the job done.

Like I said, you did your homework, so jump in the pool already :)
