Not sure if anyone can help me, but i'm using the cucusoft iPod software to convert my dvds into mp4's. Everything seems to be okay, then i watch the movie on my iPod and there will be a pause in the video and when it comes back on there is no audio unless i manually fast forward or rewind it. It usually does it every couple minutes or so. Extremely annoying. Before this drives me crazy, I hope someone can provide me with an answer. Thanks.
If you have a 60GB iPod with firmware version 1.1 then you probably just need to downgrade your firmware to 1.0
Yes, as DJ suggests, check the firmware of your iPod (you can check it on the iPod by going [bold]"settings" ==> "about"[/bold] from the iPod's main menu. If you do find you are running version 1.1, have a look at my stickied FAQ (q&a # 27) for instructions on how to downgrade.
Same thing happened to me when I first started using Cucusoft, and I was running 1.0 firmware. I converted the video that this happened to again and it fixed the prob. ;-)
