I'm really P.O.'ed I'm pissed because I was careful to make a setting very low so as to avoid a bad burn. Well, the second disk I put in, I noticed the speed was back up to 16x (max). What is the cure for this? It apparently can happen in any job where more than one disk is made. Also it's not the first time I've had this problem or asked this question. The problem seems to be ongoing and never is resolved. Can I substitute dvd shrink and use that burn feature? I'd just go do it, but I'm rusty on how these programs work or fail to work together. As I recall if using dvd shrink to burn, something like Nero kicks in also at top speed. Really frustrated.
I believe Nero reverts back to it's default burn setting after each burn, not sure though...If you use the burn settings in DVD Shrink and use Nero to burn I would think you would run into the same problems. Have you tried Imgburn? Create an ISO image with DVD Shrink and then open the ISO in Imgburn, Imgburn has a queue feature which will allow you to make multiple copies of either the same movie or or different ones, and the speed once set should stay set. http://www.imgburn.com http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=930
Ok, Does Imagburn have any probelms running under Win98SE? Some progs in the transcoding market are only developed for XP these days. Any guides that thave been completed? In the meantime I'll take your advice and not try to do more than one pass with Nero. I never seem to learn my lesson on this problem. Plus, why is there a counter selection for multiple copies if it never and _has_ worked? Thanks for replying. lon
It works...just doesn't work right, right? The link I gave to Imgburn should answer all your questions about it.
