    can u ftp movies to ur xbox, i havr limewire Pro (legal version) and i downloaded a movie can i copy it to my xbox???
    by the way the movie is south park the movie...OH YEAH!!!

    That is piracy and it isn't aloud here..........But you can't......

    limewire Pro is legal u have to PAY FOR IT

    Yea but the sharing part isn't if you are downloading certain things that aren't copyrighted then you can....but movies are copyrighted so it is illegal

    To answer the question, yes you can FTP it to your Xbox and use XBMC to play it from there.

    but like tocool4u said it is illegal. Limewire Pro, even though you pay for it is still a P2P program. So the movies on it would have been illegally uploaded so that you can illegally download them.
    Why you would pay for a P2P program when there are 3-4 good free programs out there is beyond me. Or did you think that if you paid for it that it would make what you are doing legal?

    can i ftp a movie that i own on dvd to my xbox and what folder would i put it in...videos???

    Yes, you could use a program like DVD Shrink or Nero
    or the best which is a combo of AnyDVD & DVDClone
    copy the movie files to your PC, then just FTP the whole file over to your Xbox.
    Usually the video folder you want is on the main partition with everything else, usually E: or F:

    Retail DVD's have protection on them,, DVD Shrink will remove it as long as you know the region code of the movie, like in the US it is region 1
    AnyDVD will remove them automatically because it runs in the system tray and any time you stick in a movie it scans them and removes the proteaction so that it can be copied with any movie copy program.
