I tried to do the procedure to clear it out but now my computer won't even boot in safe mode. It shuts off and won't even read the hard drive. What can I do about this ?

    The hard drive is'nt detected?

Can you boot into windows at all? well if the BIOS is'nt detecting the hard drive then try using the recovery disk (you should have received this with your pc) and no i am not talking about the windows recovery disk, i mean the recovery disk for your the hd, it may also be a dead hd, i dont think spyfalcon could shut down your hard drive btw...

First thing i'd do it open it up and make sure that its properly coneced to the mother board, you dont realy have to worry about this hapening as the cables realy are in there, worth a go however.

I dont fully understand you to tell the truth, "it just shuts off" when booting into windows or what?? does it just go off no matter what your doing ??, sounds like power supply unit issues, could be a number of things realy..

Well the first thing you can do is explain whats going on, i dont actualy fully understand whats going on...
