I'm going to try it in the next 30 minutes and will let y'all know how it goes. I've just updated mine and will give it a go/green light.

No, haven't updated yet. I am sure it doesn't have TOO many bugs. jdobbs is a lot better than Nero with his releases. LOL.

Been trying to register on the dvdrb web site for over a week now, but never have any luck.
Always get the email confirmation, but when I follow the link to sign on, it says that username does not exist(I've tried various usernames) and tried automatic and user defined passwords.
Really want to start using the pro version of dvdrb, but want to at least get a user account setup first.
Do any of the users already registered there have any idea what is going on, or how I get a response to questions, as I've emailed with no responses so far.

I set up my username (email) upon purchase of the Pro version. If that helps...

I updated but haven't used it yet...... the best quality proggie out there for encoding! I'm sure it's fine! if not..... not worried... JDobbs does wonders and will correct it all if it's got bugs. DVD-RB just keeps getting better and better.

I just purchased the pro version last week and installed 1.08. So I just need to run the zip update file right?

@BigDK - I never signed up at the DvdRb site. I just clicked on the donate paypal link and donated the $30. I got a email within 30 seconds with the link to download the pro version.

    @beltline

Just unzip the the file and extract to your RB folder, it will replace the old with the new.

Can you tell a difference between ProCoder (mastering) and CCE 3 passes?

seriously it's all in one's prefferences, I like procoder2 for older movies it seems to clean them up a bit. and as for interlaced movies I can see a slight improvement.

but I like to keep all the encoders around as they all have there purposes. but procoder 2 has been climbing my fave's list since I started using it.

check this out for some comparison's http://www.dvdhounds.com/forums/showthread.php?t=308

but it's alway's best to go w/ your own experiments/prefferences

Why are some of the update files older than the one's I had? For example the *OCX files?

Finally get the pro vesrion today.
Already used it to back up red dwarf series 7 disk 1 with procoder2.0, and whereas the free version failed on the creating iso stage with an error, its now sailed straight through, and compared to the copy I did with clonedvd2 it is superb.
    Worth every penny

I gave up on the registering account, and just used the option to donate for the pro software.
Rx'd the email with link within about 30 mins.
