Sorry, to ask this question if it's been asked before, but i searched and i can't find it. If anyone can copy/paste a guide, or write a quick descriptive one themselves, i would be very thankful. I've previously backed up DVD's and Ps2 games, but none that are on a dual layer dvd. Thanks in advance, and please, if anybody comes by and reads this, try to help out. I want to know this ASAP, because a friend of mine needs it...actually, he's on his way right now...and i know this place gets slow replies...
oh, and i forgot to mention I use DVD decrypter to burn. I can also use nero, though i personally prefer DVD decrypter.
Use dvd decrypter in Mode/ ISO read/backup to hard drive by clicking the harddrive-burn icon/Mode ISO write/locate those mds files/open/ok/and click harddrive/burn icon and that's all she wrote. I don't backup games, but a buddy of mine does. He mainly uses dvd decrypter in the same ISO mode. Very easy, and quick. Nero6 does have issues at the layer break,so I advise not using that program. Dvd decrypter would be quicker, and less strain on your pc. Another option: Rip using dvd decrypter in MODE/ISO read/backup to hard drive. Then open up BURNimg/locate the mds files/open/ok/and click backup/harddrive icon. Burnimg was created by the same author of dvd decrypter, lightningUK. It's only a burn program, and looks identical to dvd decrypter in Mode ISO write mode.
