What do you mean a normal iPod? The only iPods that are capable of putting videos on are iPod Video and possibly an iPod nano if you know how to do it correctly.
trevor77 - Hello & Welcome. The Video iPod is the only iPod that reliably supports any video formats. There is a hack called iPodLinux, which has been able to allow very limited video playback on previous iPods.
