Okay, here's my problem. I'm trying to add subtitles to a movie using VirtualDub. Everything is fine up to the point where I add the textsub filter as my weapon of choice. Okay, then the grey textsub settings box pops up and prompts for either *.srt,*.sub,*.smi,*.psb,*.ssa, or *.ass. I click the *.srt file I need and hit open, but when I do I'm back at the grey textsub settings box and it's still prompting me for a file. Any ideas of what's going on?

Works fine here. What build/version of vsfilter are you using? or are you still using the old textsub from vobsub?

Celtic_D, I've found the source of my burden. It was the subtitle files. They were damaged. Thanks for the timely response!
